Jika anda sering berbelanja/bertransaksi via online, berikut ada beberapa tips cara aman untuk bertransaksi via dunia maya. Tips ini saya kutip berdasarkan pengalaman pribadi, pengalaman tetangga (1 RW), pengalaman teman kerja dan pengalaman dari blog-blog yang saya kunjungi.

Mau tau apa aja tipsnya? Yok…cek ke TKP…

1. Gunakan komputer pribadi, bukan warnet ataupun minjem laptop teman apalagi make laptop yang sedang dipajang di pameran

2. Harus baca FAQ. Jangan sampai di kebijakan itu ada poin yang menyebutkan kalau si Penjual boleh memberikan data pribadi Anda ke pihak lain.
Baca juga kebijakan pengembalian barang. Karena barang yang dibeli tidak bisa dilihat secara fisik, harus ada garansi kalau barang yang dikirim cacat, Anda boleh mengirim barang cacat itu kembali dan tentu saja diganti dengan barang baru atau uang Anda kembali.

3. Cek identitas toko online tersebut, misalnya: alamat email, No Telp / HP, YM, pin BB apakah masih aktif atau tidak.
Kalau tidak meyakinkan, kunjungi mesin pencari Google atau Yahoo kemudian masukkan nama situs web itu. Contoh: apakah www.namasitus.com penipu.

4. Jangan tergiur dengan harga super murah yang tidak masuk akal dan jangan langsung berbelanja dalam jumlah besar, coba dulu belanja produk yang murah.

5. Cari tanda kalau situs web itu aman
Biasanya kalau kita mau bertransaksi, sebagian website mengharuskan kita untuk Register. Nah, ketika Anda diminta untuk memasukkan informasi pendaftaran nomor kartu kredit, lihat alamat situs web. Harusnya alamat situs web berubah dari http ke 'shttp' atau 'https'. Artinya informasi pembayaran itu dienkripsi, lebih aman.

6. Periksa paket barang dengan membaca deskripsi produk baik-baik.
Curigailah pada barang bermerek yang dijual dengan potongan harga yang sangat besar.

7. Simpan bukti transaksi
Termasuk deskripsi produk dan harga, kuitansi digital, dan juga salinan e-mail antara Anda dengan penjual.

Yang terakhir.
Jangan membeli barang secara Online hanya melalui situs jejaring sosial. Dengan kata lain si penjual tidak mempunyai website/blog berbayar (hanya majang foto-foto toko), bisa saja itu foto toko orang lain. Lagian pelit amat si penjual, jual barang harga jutaan gak punya website :p
